This Edition supports SNMPv1, SNMPv2c and SNMPv3 protocols. Besides the
standard SNMPv3 USM security model, this edition supports the
Diffie-Hellman key exchange model, useful for seamless access and
management of DOCSIS based SNMPv3 agents (i.e., cable modems, cable
modem termination systems, set-top boxes, etc.) Besides IPv4 and IPX
transport protocols, this edition also supports SNMP over IPv6 protocol.
