Effortless Adjustment
The smooth motion hinge on your Apple display requires very little pressure to tilt the monitor to a different position. This design allows you to view the adjust the display from a -5° to a +25° angle to suit the need of different users. All you need is the touch of a finger to move your featherweight display.

Peripheral Vision
Your Apple display includes two FireWire 400 ports and a two port USB 2.0 self-powered hub. So you can have a printer or scanner connected, or a camcorder or digital camera. The FireWire port lets you easily use an iSight camera for video chat, presented beautifully on your Apple display, or connect your iPod dock. You can also make best use of all the latest USB 2.0 devices, whether you’re using your display with a Mac or PC.

 

Suspension of Disbelief
An elegant aluminum enclosure, advanced hinge technology and peripheral support give you flexibility to place your display anywhere and adjust it effortlessly. The optional VESA mount lets you put a flat panel in surprising new places. Even better, it can drive two 30-inch Apple Cinema HD Displays*, giving you the ultimate creative canvas.

About VESA
The Video Electronics Standards Association promotes and develops timely, relevant, open display and display interface standards, ensuring interoperability, and encouraging innovation. By choosing the VESA standard mount, Apple lets you choose any mounting solution that is VESA compliant. Choosing the VESA standard for DVI lets you select graphics cards that are VESA compliant to connect an Apple display to a PC.

Magnetic Personality
To attach your iSight to the new displays, Apple now offers a magnetic mounting solution. This stand is available in new iSight boxes this summer, and included in the mounting kit accessory package.

Kensington Security
Secure your display using a Kensington locking mechanism. Located on the display itself, the security port lets you lock your display when you use the built-in stand or with an alternate mounting solution

Cool Cables
A single cable extending from the back of the display carries signal for graphics input, USB 2.0, FireWire 400 and power. Optionally connecting the FireWire and USB cables lets you use your Apple display as a hub for just about any peripheral device.
