SAN
Hands-On Laboratory Training
Our hands-on training class is the product of a partnership between
Computer PRO and Infinity I/O. The class incorporates industry
standardized materials from Infinity I/O with additional lab exercises
designed by Computer PRO.
This unique,
three-day SAN lab training class is designed to give students real hands-
on experience
with the components and solutions that make up today's SANs. Through a
combination of short lectures and structured lab exercises, students will
plan, connect, partition, and manage a fibre channel Storage Area Network.
This class can be taught in an accelerated 2-day format for private classes.
Our training
center's SAN lab affords students the opportunity to experiment with SAN
equipment from a variety of vendors in a controlled environment. Each
student has personal access to Windows and UNIX computers, switches,
bridges, cabling, disk subsystems, and tape hardware, among other
components.
Audience
This class is ideal for anyone who will be involved in implementing,
designing, or managing fibre channel SANs. Prior knowledge of general
computing hardware and networking is assumed. We recommend an introductory
course such as SAN Concepts & Architecture or SAN Essentials before taking
this course.
